2020年5月28日,奧的斯電梯(韓國(guó))公司(副總裁及執(zhí)行董事是IS Cho;下稱“奧的斯電梯”)宣布與韓國(guó)性別平等與家庭部(也稱韓國(guó)女性家族部)簽訂了“包容性成長(zhǎng)與性別平等”的自愿協(xié)議。奧的斯電梯是韓國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)第一家簽訂該協(xié)議的建筑類企業(yè)。

奧的斯電梯與韓國(guó)性別平等與家庭部是基于“企業(yè)文化及領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層及其有利于推動(dòng)性別平等,還會(huì)增進(jìn)企業(yè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力和促進(jìn)國(guó)家經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展”這樣共同的理念簽訂該協(xié)議的。

奧的斯電梯的目標(biāo)是在現(xiàn)有的基礎(chǔ)上,增加女性企業(yè)和部門管理人員的比例,在2022年把該比例提高5%。1)目前奧的斯全球的女性企業(yè)管理人員超過30%,包括總裁兼CEO朱蒂(Judy Marks);2)為確保女性及其才能可以得到充分的發(fā)揮,公司計(jì)劃策略性地為女性增加工程師、銷售及維護(hù)人員等崗位。

不僅如此,奧的斯致力于創(chuàng)造一個(gè)對(duì)家庭友好的環(huán)境,通過鼓勵(lì)女性的伴侶休育兒假期和引入機(jī)制以適應(yīng)不同類型的工作,如靈活工作時(shí)間制度,以防女性事業(yè)出現(xiàn)斷層。

Otis signs ‘Partnership for Inclusive Growth and Gender Equality’ in South Korea

South Korea, May 28th, 2020 --- Otis Elevator Korea (VP and Managing Director IS Cho; “Otis” hereinafter) announced today it has signed a voluntary agreement for ‘Partnership for Inclusive Growth and Gender Equality’ with the South Korean Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. Otis becomes the first in the domestic construction industry to sign this agreement in Korea.

Otis and the ministry signed the agreement based on their shared belief that organizational culture and leadership drive gender equality significantly and contribute towards improving corporate competitiveness and the national economy.

Otis Korea aims to increase the percentage of female executives and department leaders 5% from the current rate by 2022.1) More than 30 percent of the company’s global executive leadership are women, including its President and CEO Judy Marks.2) To ensure access to women and their talents in a more balanced manner, the company plans to strategically hire more women in jobs such as engineering, sales and maintenance.

Furthermore, Otis is dedicated to creating a family-friendly environment to prevent a gap in women’s careers, by encouraging partners to take their childcare leave and introducing programs that support different types of work, such as flexible work hours.
